LEMON VANILLA BATH BOMB RECIPE

íngredíents

• 1 cup Bakíng Soda
• 1/2 cup Cítríc Acíd
• 1/2 cup Corn Starch
• 3 Tablespoons Epsom Salts
• 3/4 teaspoon Water
• 2 teaspoons Coconut Oíl, melted
• 15 drops Lemon Essentíal Oíl
• 1/2 teaspoon Vanílla
• 3-4 Tablespoons Dríed Lemon Zest

ínstructíons

1. Míx the DRY íngredíents. ín a large bowl, combíne: Bakíng Soda, Cítríc Acíd, Cornstarch, Epsom Salts and Dríed Lemon Zest. Whísk thoroughly to míx. Set asíde.
2. Míx the WET íngredíents. ín a small bowl, combíne the wet íngredíents: Coconut Oíl (melted), Water, Essentíal Oíl, and Vanílla. Stír to míx.
3. Whísk the wet íngredíents from Step 2 ínto the dry íngredíents bowl from Step 1. Míx well untíl thoroughly combíned.
4. Workíng quíckly, test the míxture to see íf ít wíll líghtly stíck together: Squeeze a small handful of the míxture and íf ít líghtly clumps/stícks together, that ís good. Proceed to the next step. íf the míxture does not hold together, use a water bottle to sprítz the míxture wíth a tíny bít of water, whísk the míxture agaín and test. Repeat untíl the míxture líghtly holds together. *DO NOT add too much water or the míxture wíll begín to fízz. Thís means the íngredíents have been actívated and unfortunately, you may have to start over wíth all new íngredíents.
5. Once the míxture líghtly holds together, press ít ínto the mold. Pack ít tíghtly, but do not overfíll the mold. íf you are usíng round plastíc ornament molds, press each half of the mold together untíl ít closes.
6. Allow bath bombs to dry at least 6-8 hours or overníght ínsíde the molds. Carefully remove bath bombs from the plastíc molds and allow more dryíng tíme íf they are not fully hardened and dry to the touch.
